Combining over 30 years of teaching experience with the FAA as a Certified Flight Instructor, Instrument Instructor and Multi-Engine Instructor along with extensive handgun experience and training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center, YOUR TEXAS CHL is fully qualified to teach you the required items for obtaining YOUR TEXAS CHL. Course items include:
1) The laws that relate to weapons and to the use of deadly force
2) Handgun use, proficiency, and safety
3) Nonviolent dispute resolution
4) Proper storage practices for handguns with an emphasis on storage practices that eliminate the possibility of accidental injury to a child
5) Profiency shooting at range -
Total class time is 10-15 hours depending on experience levels and can be scheduled at your convenience at your location. And, for every person who joins you in class, you get $20 off your fee. So, plan to have a "CHL Class Party" at your home or business, and your class could be FREE.
